1. Who we are
This website and the Inbox Rinser software are run by Fidus, POB 10590, Haifa-Bay, Israel 26117, Israel ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can contact us at support@inboxrinser.com.
2. What we collect and why
License data. When you buy or activate a license we keep your e-mail address, your license key, the license period and status, and an anonymous identifier of each computer you activate (up to 3, made from the Windows machine id, not your name), the version of the Software, and the date of the last check. We use it to run the license, to stop misuse, and to help you if something goes wrong. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
Order data. Your purchase is handled by Paddle. We receive from Paddle your name, e-mail address, country and the order details. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
Support messages. If you write to us we keep your message and our reply so we can help you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
Website logs. Our server and Cloudflare record technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time, for security and to keep the site working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security.
3. What we do NOT collect
The Software connects directly from your computer to your mail server. Your e-mail messages, mailbox passwords, settings and lists stay on your computer. We do not receive them. The Software does not send us statistics about your mail.
4. Who receives your data
Paddle. Paddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record for our orders. It processes your payment and order data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
Service providers. Our web hosting provider and Cloudflare (website security and delivery) process technical data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your own country, including in Israel and in the countries where Paddle and our service providers operate. When this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law.
6. How long we keep data
License data is kept while your license is active and afterwards for as long as needed to handle refunds, disputes and tax and accounting duties. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to help you. Website logs are kept for about one month. After that we delete the data or make it anonymous.
7. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies for security. Paddle's checkout may use cookies as described in Paddle's privacy notice.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, write to support@inboxrinser.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The Software and this website are not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page with a new date.
